What is a "like" on WhatsApp?

WhatsApp has no like button. What the panels sell under that word is the emoji reaction under a post in a WhatsApp channel: the thumbs-up, the heart, the laughing face, the small line under the post that shows how often each character was given. Channels have only existed for a few years, and they are a one-way street — the channel operator sends, everyone else reads and may react.

That explains how the inventory is built. The catalogues do not list a product called "likes", but one line per character: one for the thumbs-up, one for the heart, one for the laughing face, plus mixed lines that scatter several characters. A second type delivers not to one post, but to the channel's next posts, which do not yet exist. This is why this scope looks much larger with 424 catalogue entries from 11 panels than the offer behind it really is: a provider with two delivery paths and twenty characters appears with forty lines in the catalogue.

If you mean the number under the channel name rather than the characters under the post, you are looking for WhatsApp members. And if you are looking for the comparison across all networks where we list the same services — from Telegram through TikTok to YouTube — you will find it in the panel comparison.

Is buying reactions worth it?

A WhatsApp channel has no algorithm that surfaces posts by popularity. There is no feed into which a well-reacted post rises, and no recommendation that kicks in because a number grows. The reaction is backdrop and nothing else — it tells a reader that someone was there before them.

That is exactly what it can be good for. A newly opened channel with nothing under its first post looks abandoned; a channel with a handful of characters beneath it looks inhabited. This creates no reach, and anyone expecting it has misunderstood the product. The distribution of a channel post depends on the number of subscribers and on genuine readers forwarding it, not on the reaction line.

A purchase becomes conspicuous through the ratio. Under every channel post WhatsApp shows the number of views, and next to it the reactions. If a post carries more characters than views, or if precisely the oldest post has the most, anyone who looks twice will notice. Anyone who is read thinly anyway therefore mainly buys, with reactions, a mismatch between two numbers that stand directly next to each other.

How the comparison is made

How we read, classify and convert catalogues — and what this comparison cannot do: Method.

Data as of 31/10/2026, 03:00 UTC; the oldest contributing catalogue extract is authoritative.

Involved are Cloutsy, FiveBBC, DripFeedPanel, SMMFlare, YTBot, APISeller, Auto SMM Panel, FansSuply, JungleSMM, Marketerum, SMMExclusive, Stream-Promotion, SMM-1, CrazyPanel, JingleSMM, Solid SMM, InstantPanel, PureSMM, FullSMM, MagnetBoosting, MegaVirality, SMMShiba, SMMTalk, SocNet and Viewsta. The stated status is set by Cloutsy as the oldest extract — the newer extracts do not move it forward, because a figure cannot be more current than its oldest component.

Between two extracts the catalogue does not stand still. Since 31/10/2026, 32 entries in this scope have a different base price than before, of which 0 upward and 32 downward; 0 lines have been newly added and 0 have disappeared from the catalogues. The stated point in time is the oldest of these earlier extracts, so that the line does not claim a freshness that its slowest component does not have.

The comparison covers only the panels that have a second extract at all; their number is 11 and is not the number of indexed panels, because a newly added house has no history yet. As long as this second extract is missing, nothing is shown here — a zero would mean "nothing has moved", and that is a measurement, not a gap.

What the price really tells you

For WhatsApp reactions the reliable base price in the index starts at 0.02 € per 1.000 units, with the midpoint of the range at 1.43 €. Both figures are purchase prices at wholesale level and not what a German-language sales page charges for them.

  • Reactions are the cheapest bulk goods in this comparison, and the gap between the lowest and the middle price is correspondingly small. Where the difference becomes large, it usually lies in the delivery path: lines for upcoming posts cost more than lines for an existing one.
  • Zero prices appear in the raw catalogues, but they are not prices — almost always they are placeholder or test entries from the panels. In this scope there are 0 such lines; they feed into no minimum, median or from-figure and nevertheless remain in the catalogue.
  • 0 entries state quantity limits that are technical placeholders rather than orderable sizes. They still appear, but are not treated as a real order limit.
  • The stated euro amount is derived from the catalogue's dollar price at a rate of 0.8951 euro per dollar, as of 30/10/2026. The dollar value remains visible on the offer, so that you can recalculate with your own rate.

The lowest reliable base price is currently CrazyPanel. The smallest orderable quantity across the same lines is 10 units — for a product whose counter is visible to everyone under the post, that is the practically more important figure: if you want twenty characters under a post, you must check whether the cheapest line permits that quantity, rather than comparing the price per thousand.

Promise in the title, field in the interface

Every catalogue entry carries two kinds of statement from the same interface. The name holds the sales arguments: refill window, daily output, start time, origin, quality tier. Alongside are sober fields that state whether refill, drip-feed and cancellation are technically provided for. The name describes the offer, the field describes the ordering route.

Reactions disappear when WhatsApp restricts or deletes the reacting accounts. A refill window in the title is the promise to top up within a deadline. Whether you can trigger that top-up yourself is decided not by the title, but by the refill field. As a rule this does not mean the top-up does not exist — it means it runs through the panel's support rather than at the push of a button.

The reverse direction is the more interesting figure, and in this product group it is small: the number of offers where the panel itself reports the refill field as set is 14. Where this number stays small, it is not a coincidence of the index, but a property of the long-running range — for a product that costs a few cents per character, hardly any panel sets up automatic top-ups.

On quality the titles say a lot and the fields nothing. "Real", "HQ" and "Non Drop" are the seller's self-description; we record them as an attribute and mark them as what they are. Whether a reaction comes from a person or a program cannot be told apart from an emoji anyway — there is no profile to look at.

Does the offer name Germany?

For reactions, the origin question is the most weakly documented in the whole comparison. 0 entries in this scope explicitly name Germany as the target country. The vast majority of lines carry no country information at all, and the few that do name Nigeria, India, Turkey or a region.

That makes sense when you think about the product: an emoji has no language. A provider delivering to a German channel does not need German accounts for it, and accordingly does not provide any. If you really need a German audience, it is more sensible to look for it among joins than among characters.

Here we distinguish two things that the market often conflates: an offer that names Germany itself, and an offer that also covers Germany through a regional specification. These are two different statements and, for us, two different filters.

Rules, risks and payment

For an order a panel needs only the link to the channel or the post, nothing more. No reputable offer asks for your phone number, your password or a confirmation code — and that is exactly what the scheme asks for, which appears twice in the German search results for this query: consumer protection sites there warn about messages that, in the name of supposed clients, promise paid likes and in the end capture access to the account. Anyone searching for the purchase of reactions lands in the same results as the target group of this scheme. A request to pass on a code is always a reason to stop.

WhatsApp's terms of use are directed against automated mass accounts and against spam distribution. Enforcement falls on the supplying side: accounts that react to foreign channel posts at minute intervals are restricted or removed. Legally, placing such an order is not a criminal offence in Germany; anyone who presents a bought reaction count to advertising clients as a real audience falls under unfair competition law. This paragraph is not legal advice.

What a panel wants to be paid with is not stated in its catalogue but in its checkout area — credit card, crypto and balance top-up are common, German payment methods rare. Which panels accept which methods belongs to the panel and not to this product group; the answer is in the panel comparison and on SMM panel with PayPal.

Outgoing links to the panels are partner links. Sorting is done by calculated price, before a link exists at all.

What works instead

The organic lever of a WhatsApp channel is the entry point, not the reaction line. A channel grows through the link: in the Instagram profile, under the YouTube video, in the email signature, on your own website. WhatsApp itself suggests channels in its directory, and there what counts is how regularly one sends, not how often one was reacted to.

The second lever is forwarding. A channel post that readers send into their own chats reaches people whom no directory reaches. As an alternative, paid advertising works on the platforms where the channel is promoted anyway — it is more expensive than reactions and the only thing that actually brings new readers.

For agencies and resellers

Almost every panel in this comparison is also a wholesaler: the same interface from which we pull the catalogues also accepts orders, and many operators sell sub-accounts for resale. We do not assess these reseller terms — they lie behind the registration, not in the catalogue.

One thing agencies regularly look for is available with us: the number of panels in this scope that state they issue a proper invoice is 2. That is not a catalogue property but a maintained commercial statement, and for buyers subject to bookkeeping obligations it often matters more than the base price.

Frequently asked questions

What do 1.000 WhatsApp reactions cost wholesale?

At wholesale level the reliable base prices start at 0.02 € per 1.000 units, with the midpoint at 1.43 €. These figures are the panels' purchase prices; a German-language sales page adds its margin on top, which we do not measure.

Does WhatsApp have likes at all?

Not in the sense of other networks. There is no like button under chat messages, but there are emoji reactions under posts in channels, and those are exactly what the panels sell under this word. Anyone looking for a like on a profile is looking for a product that does not exist on this platform.

Can I order a specific emoji?

Often yes. The catalogues list individual lines per character — thumbs-up, heart, laughing face and others — and alongside them mixed lines that scatter several characters. Which selection a panel offers is stated on the entry; the price usually differs little between characters.

What are reactions to upcoming posts?

A type that does not deliver to an existing post, but to the channel's next posts as they appear. It costs more than the simple variant and presupposes that posting actually continues — if nothing is posted, the rest of the order lapses.

How quickly are reactions delivered?

Start time and daily output appear as fields on the offer, provided the panel reports them. In this product group short start times and high daily quantities are the rule. Whether the promise is kept we do not check — we show what is stated on the entry.

Are there real accounts behind bought reactions?

The titles say "Real" and "HQ", and the interface fields say nothing about it. From an emoji a person cannot be told apart from a program anyway, because no profile is attached. We take the quality tier over as the seller's self-description and mark it as such.

Can you tell from a channel that reactions were bought?

Under every channel post the view count is shown, directly beside the reactions. A mismatch between the two catches the eye of anyone who looks twice, and it is the only figure outsiders can check on a channel without access.

How old are the prices on this page?

They come from the catalogue extracts as of 31/10/2026, 03:00 UTC. The oldest contributing extract is always the one stated, so that no figure looks fresher than it is. Panels change prices several times a day, which is why the date stands at every figure.
