How to take part in the 3D photo trend
At first glance you might think it's a new effect applied to portrait photos on the iPhone, but it's actually the work of a brand-new app. It's called CapCut and is quickly gaining popularity.
Once you've downloaded the app, you can get started by importing a few photos and creating a project:
Once the project is set up, a few clicks are all it takes to turn the photos into 3D photos for your TikTok/Instagram Reels video:
All photos edited, aligned and ready for the wide world of the internet? Then you can export your video with a few more clicks and share it on a platform of your choice, or save it to your gallery via the Other option etc.:
You can also set individually for each photo how long it is displayed. Depending on the music you choose, you should keep it to 1 second if possible, so that errors in the 3D effect don't stand out.
