American Express links the Harry Styles "Together, Together" tour with card benefits, pop-up stores and an international fan campaign. Rather than simply placing a logo next to the stage, the financial services provider makes access to coveted experiences a concrete membership perk. This also works in Germany: already at the album launch there was a Berlin pop-up store with separate offers for cardholders.
From presale to the full fan experience
The collaboration goes beyond the classic ticket presale. According to Live Nation, eligible Amex members already received early access to tickets for selected tour dates from 26 January 2026. For the release of the album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., pop-up shops followed in 16 cities.
The campaigns combine several touchpoints: fans discover the album and tour via social media, visit temporary sales spaces, buy merchandise and encounter credit card benefits there. In Berlin, the pop-up took place on Kurfürstendamm. Cardholders could, among other things, get in early for the March dates, use a dedicated checkout and purchase selected exclusive items. The Berlin campaign terms at the time were publicly documented.
This follows a different logic than a reach-oriented celebrity spot: the product promise is delivered directly on site.
The community supplies the stories
On the official Harry Styles website, under the motto "We Belong Together, Together", a campaign presented by American Express is also running. Selected fans are to be able to travel to tour shows with a companion. The site collects personal stories about who fans would like to take along and why they share that connection. According to the official rules, no purchase is required to take part.
Here a tour sponsorship becomes a community format: the fans' relationships with one another supply the narrative, while Amex enables the experience. This recalls other creator events where brands measure community closeness rather than mere follower counts, but goes a step further through demonstrable card benefits.
Why this is also interesting for Germany
For 2, 3, 9 and 10 July 2027 four concerts at the former Tempelhof airport in Berlin are listed by Ticketmaster Germany. Whether individual Amex benefits are offered at each of these concerts depends on the terms and allocations published for each.
Marketing teams can take three things from this model: an event creates attention, a concrete benefit motivates use, and the recurring partnership gives a reason to stay a member. For this, not only views matter, but also presale usage, activation rates, redemptions, event attendance and long-term loyalty.
The Bravo Fan Fest with shopping and brand activations works in a similar way. And Charli xcx and Absolut show how an artist partnership grows over several years with fan events.
The key point: Amex is not simply selling a credit card in the context of Harry Styles. The brand demonstrates what membership actually makes possible for fans.
